Alexandra BREZNAY est une photographe diplômée de l'International Center of Photography et de Sciences Po Paris, elle est représentée par l’agence Hans Lucas et fait partie de l’agence R.É.A.
Après avoir vécu à New York, elle habite actuellement à Paris où elle a enseigné la photographie à Reid Hall, à des étudiants américains des universités de Columbia, Smith, Wesleyan et Vassar.
Elle poursuit une vision poétique de la photographie documentaire et son regard est attiré par des moments d’entre-deux, se concentrant sur l'environnement des grandes villes et la solitude qu’elles engendrent.
Son travail a été exposé à la galerie 3F, la Mairie du 13ème, la Little Big Galerie, la Galerie Stackl’r, la Capitale Galerie, au Centre d'Art contemporain de Chabram, au Lieu 37 en France, à la Magyarságháza de Budapest, et aux 3rd Ward, Sky Deck Terrace, Greenpoint Gallery et the Schoolhouse à New York.
Ses photographies de reportage ont été publiées dans Le Point, Les Echos, Philosophie Magazine, Alternatives Economiques, L’Humanité, La Vie, La Croix, Madame Figaro, French Morning, Unmapped, Der Blatt…

Alexandra BREZNAY is a Parisian photographer who graduated from Sciences Po Paris and the International Center of Photography of New York. She is represented by the photo agency Hans Lucas and is part of the photo agency R.É.A.
After living in New York, she is currently based in Paris where she taught digital photography at Reid Hall to American students from Columbia, Smith, Wesleyan and Vassar, .
She is always aiming at a poetic outlook upon documentary photography. She focuses on urban environments, representing moments of loneliness and in-between times.
Her work has been exhibited at the Galerie 3F, the Mairie du 13ème, the Little Big Galerie, Galerie Stackl’r, the Capitale Galerie, at the Centre d'Art contemporain de Chabram, the Lieu 37 in France, the Magyarságháza in Hungary and at 3rd Ward, Sky Deck Terrace, Greenpoint Gallery and the Schoolhouse in New York.
